Can not send emails with Rain Network

I purchased a Rain unlimited 24/7 sim card. I am using the simcard in an iphone as the router. It's working great so far, however i can receive mails on Outlook but can not send mails.

Can anybody help me with a way to change my outgoing server details, or do whatever so that i can send mails?

My simcard was delivered last week on the 15th July 2020, it was successfully activated as I received an SMS confirmation, but when inserting the simcard on my tablet and put on my mobile data, there's no network, I've tried adding the APN details but still no luck, I did log a query with Support twice but I haven't received any response. I haven't been able to use this simcard and today marks the 6th day. Please assist me as I need to start using it asap.

People still go to Rain ? Can't you lot read ????

I was advised by a colleague, I wasn't aware of all this hustle. Can u recommend any other network provider because where I'm located, the other big networks are giving me problems.

I still have to ask why all this secrecy about the solution? Surely the Rain Rep can post a generic solution on the forum for all to see about what the outgoing server settings are supposed to be for the rain network?

Yes I agree the personal details should not be posted, that is not what my comment is about.
 
Your outgoing server settings should be your mail server that hosts your mail, ISP smtp servers are a bad idea with SPF etc anyway

Sure, but show me where the ISPs in this country have implemented those recommendations,
 
Seems we have to do the work for Rain. Pathetic! If this detail is not correct then Rain has only themselves to blame. Maybe this will prompt them to get off their lazy behinds and respond to queries on the forum.

Does rain have a SMTP service?
rain currently does not have a SMTP service. It is a value-added service that rain does not offer at the moment.

Rain does NOT offer and SMTP service. Yes, that is right, no SMTP server available on RAIN.
 
lol so what settings does one use in outlook then? surely there has to be alternative settings. my gosh if I knew this I would not have even bothered getting rain
