Can someone please try and explain this email from 1970!?

My Dstv decoder indicates that it's 1 January 1970 today. Future abzo messing with me

Apart from my using the eraser in "Paint" to remove email details, there has been no editing of this screengrab.

Opened up my mail on the iPhone, screen flickered a bit, hung for a second or so - and that's when I noticed this email preview... Looked bizarre - took the screengrab - tried to open it, and the same thing happened, and then it disappeared. Everything continued working as it should, barring the phantom message...

Anyone seen anything like this before? Is this peculiar, or just a random coincidence?

I got the same email a few weeks ago and I could not delete it like I could the other emails on my ipod, I think it finally disappeared after a few days.
