I have just been to the Afrihost website and I don't see the offer being live to the public as promised. Has anybody been able to order a package yet?

"We are also doing away with Out-of-Bundle charges and penalties, by offering standard topup rates from R99 per GB - incredible value for SA Mobile users!! From the 20th of August, clients will exclusively be able to sign up via pre-order, as a public offer will not be made until the Commercial Launch on 3rd of September. Clients will also be able to invite a limited number of friends or family to get in on the action."

We will shock the broadband community on 5 September with our latest Mobile Three limited offering - an incredible 10GB at just R197 per month (an effective R19.70 per GB)! Clients will receive 3GB + 7GB FREE Anytime Data on their package, which is guaranteed until 30 November 2013. Thereafter the offer will be revised or extended.

Yes, fully agree with you on that on the previous communication they sent out as a press release they did mention on 3 September 2013, official launch now it seems like 5 September 2013 unless it's pre offering once again

I don't want to opt-in for the pro-rata want the full data subtracting R13.13 removes

Normal Data Allocation 3.00 GB

Pro Rata Data Deduction -682.67 MB

Hopefully they deliver all the pre orders before sending more stuff to the couriers.
As we have found out they deliver in a pretty random order so pre order people could get theirs after normal delivery opens.

Once you have received your device, 24-48hrs later, in your client zone, when you click on your mobile package there will be buttons on the left (top up / protection plan....) - one of them is to change your package. Mine came alive last night.

The 3rd was the original date, but we didn't plan on giving away all our MiFi's. We were trying to decide what would be the best way to launch with something awesome. When Gian and the directors came up with the amazing Mobile 3 deal, we needed a few more days to make that happen!

We also wanted to make sure that all our mobile pre-orders got delivered before we started bombarding our poor courier with more orders :(
 
@AfriMan So because i havent received my device by the courier yet, i cant upgrade to the 10Gig package... and if its sold out before I finally get it and 24hours has passed?

Maybe the call centre can help with the upgrade until your initial order arrives?
