Can this dude really be gay?

Okay ISPcow... Let me put it this way. Why wont any doctor give a woman a prostate exam? Is it discrimination? NO..... The reason is they're not suppose to have one! Just like no man is "suppose" to have a man bag.

Geez how can people complicate things to this point. Do you wear panties? Well you're not "suppose" to.

hmmm... not sure how to respond too this well, thought out and informative post

:wtf:

Gay = name brand
Shopping at pnp clothing = straight

So what you're saying is that if you even know any brand names that makes you gay?

By your own logic I'm straight and you're gay :)

You don't. Frankly, I wouldn't even know where to start tearing it apart :p

I have noticed this also, not personally, but there are always signs on pnp's doors showing that bags can't be tacken inside (backpacks i think). I suppose this is to stop people from shoplifting.

I have seen some females with bags so big you can play hide and seek in them, so it doesn't really help pnp's stance. I don't think the policy is homophobic, as all men are not allowed to take bags in, not just gay dudes.

When I was in Germany for a while I used to cycle everywhere, and had a backpack with me when I did and not one shop had a problem with it, because they know its convenient cause its really crap to ride a bike while trying to hold on to a little plastic bag.

I go in with my backpack and am itching for a fight with a security guard that insists I stick it at the parcel counter. Management will be the only people I'll speak to. It's ludicrous. I don't blame PnP clothing, I blame the ignorant security guard / company.

Something like that.
Gay dudes have a certain je ne sais quoi about them. You don't get that from shopping at Pick n Pay clothing.

Dude, despite perceptions not all gay guys are limp-wristed fashion concious screaming queen stereo-types.
Of course not!

Even straight guys know not to shop at P&P clothing. What would you buy there?

They occasionally have very nice jackets for the ladies, not really sure what men's clothing they have. I just know I found some really snazzy shirts and bottoms for sleeping in (loose and comfortable but also warm).

Only thing I've really noticed is that the stitching isn't always er... symmetrical. For instance I have one shirt that's longer in front than in the back. But it's comfy for sleeping in and it cost R20.

Personally, I don't get brand favouritism (shop-wise or label-wise) when it comes to clothing. If it's well-made, looks good on you and costs less then what's the issue? It's the same material. Hell, I have a pair of R200 jeans from Edgars which I had to return because the pocket was stitched into the seam of the pants leg.

I find it pretty funny how many people are embarrassed to be seen shopping for clothes at a grocery store or, dare I say, "Where the rabble shop." Silly insecurities and misinformed perceptions. Tsk, tsk.

I have a little shoulder pouch thingy that I wear accross my chest and the little pouch sits on my hips.
Someone say fanny pack. :D

I have never had a problem at P&P with my little man bag.
That made me ROFL. But seriously, it's refreshing to see guys who aren't hung up about size.

Levi jean pant... Can you say working man's pant? If its not sold there you don't go inside.
You don't buy guess or diesel or any other ftv designer jeans leave those to the "metros". Its the working man's red label or home pant-less with a beer nothing else.

Also got the idea its a "mommy" shopping store. Where mommy would buy daddy something.

No idea :p

Most of the clothes are very pink, fluffy kind of things.

Actually, you know what amazes the **** out of me? People would go to some high-priced fashion boutique and buy:

These are the ugliest shoes IN THE UNIVERSE. They are hideous, grotesque, vile and simply aesthetically awful. But almost every other woman you walk past in town wears them!

They are so, so, so tacky, base and classless. Yet there are people who pay a small fortune for those kinds of shoes, but are ashamed to be seen shopping in el cheapo stores? LOL

There's only one place for pumps on a woman. And it's not her feet...

hehe...no man...its not a fanny pack! Thos things are just bleh! It has a long strap that cross your chest diagonally and then the little pouch dangles by your hips kinda thing. I dont like wearing the strap just over my shoulder...cause that is too fem for me! Wearing it accross your chest makes it manly! lol
