Can you explain the R23 charge?

This is on a prepaid sim with data bundles loaded through my bank/vodacom4me. What is the R23 charge? I had close to 20 MB available a week ago and now it's gone (with close to no usage and the wifi AP has WPA2 enabled)! Is there a monthly fee? And will is swallow up credit allocated to data?

But then you go to the activate data bundle page and it says:

Available Data Bundle 19.73 MB
Data Bundle Expiry Date Wednesday, 17 December 2008

Is this a contract SIM?

I think the Summary page gives the status of the 'primary bundle', so it will show zero when depleted.

But it won't show the status of any added bundles. This you'll find on the second page.

Hmmm, very dodgy. How can they charge you R23 without stating what the charge is for? I was scammed by vodacom who charged me for a look4me service I never subscribed to for a few months. They never cleared that up for me either. After 7.5 years with vodacom I'm much happier using MTN now.

I assume a USSD is a voucher, the data bundle is a data bundle,
but what is the R442?

It's an odd amount, I have no recollection or slips at all...
