Very rusty, just not something I get a chance to practise very often.

So, i had this debate the other day with friends.

I can parallel park EXTREMELY well. Literally first-time into most parking bays 95% of the time. My brain just works it out easily.

But parking straight.. into a straight bay especially in reverse I cannot get the car to be straight lol. Its always at an angle. I don't understand it, it should be much easier lol...

A dying skill with many of the top brands now DIY. I've become lazy and often leave it to the car and just sit back.
Cruise control doesn't mean the car drives itself. Also a lesson you learn the hard way, I just took my hand off the wheel to pour my whisky sheesh. Not my fault the car wasn't on autopilot.

The last time I parallel parked was with my Cruze. I had a lot of hatchbacks prior to it, I forgot I had a boot... The Mercedes I reversed into reminded me of that. That was 10 years ago now.

Yeah , you will fit well in here in KZN.

Had to recently do it for the first time in years right in front of the car spares shop. My brain went wtf do I do again but luckily I did a passable job.
