Can you tell the difference between PC and PS4 graphics?

? None of those games have 8gb ram as a minimum requirement.

But all of them have heavy system requirements. Ram isn't the be all and end all of system requirements.

Crysis, Last Last, Witcher 2/3, Arma III...

I got stuck in Crysis 3 the other day at the Gods & Monsters stage and looked at a youtube guide briefly which was on PS4, the guy doing it even said theres no comparison in gfx quality when going down those waterfalls/streams at maxed gfx settings. Does not require 8GB of RAM though, most games easily come in under 4GB.

Well if some guy on youtube said there's no difference, I'm sold ;)

To clarify though, I was referring to Crysis1.

Well if you looked at the 1080p recording and then compared it running on the pc in front of you there's no need to take his word for it.

That's an incredible story, especially since Crysis3 isn't on PS4.

Nowadays it's not really recommended to play with only 4GB. I've only got 4 and I'm feeling it bad. Just waiting for prices to drop a bit and then I intend to buy two 8GB sticks.

I think the entire point here is blind testing and not side by side testing.

Just like TV's the one you have at home always looks pretty damn good, it's only when you see them all next to each other in the shop that the obvious differences show up.

I've not seen my ram usage go above 4GB with any game so far.

It might depend on the game you're playing. Many games are still only 32-bit compatible. More and more are starting to become 64-bit compatible. This is going to start to change a lot now that consoles support more than 4GB RAM.

I've been launching the 64-bit exe's where available.
