Hockey riot in Vancouver

Photos of riots in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada following Game 7 of the NHL Stanley Cup final Wednesday. The Vancouver Canucks’ 4-0 loss to Boston had fans setting cars and garbage cans ablaze, smashing windows, showering giant TV screens with beer bottles and dancing atop overturned vehicles.

This is North America!

Not the first time this has happened in US and Canadian sports. I think last year's NBA finals had similair issues after the last game.
 
The difference between them and us is that they don't burn down the Hockey Arena/Stadium when their team loses. Here we burn down a school because we not getting a good education. We also burn down a Municipal office because we want better service delivery.

But Wayne we are logical,pfft seriously I get pissed off when they burn schools down! They dont realise how lucky they are just having a school.

In this country they say it is your democratic right to protest which basically means riot because it is less red tape for government to sort through. Imagine they ban protesting and only allow people to send written documentation, who is going to sit through all those submission, that means work that people are too lazy to do.

This will happen when you hire people who just want money and don't care about the job at hand :( I blame BEE etc but we have so many talented and skilled people to do this who are qualified but as business goes they hire 'friends'.( I know plenty of my black mates who got degrees but can't find a job and its sad).
 
What a bunch of idiots. As stupid as our people are for burning down schools to protest weak education, at least they are trying to get attention to fix the problem. Burning down police cars and **** because your team lost a game?! Not even Blue bulls fans do that!
This just shows again, we (including myself) are quick to think the south african blacks are stupid, but its more a human thing.

In Europe they riot over escalating petrol prices . . . whereas locally we protest by filling the tank the night before.
