Cancelling a existing line & ordering new one?!

Hey guys,

I am moving at the end of the month. So i thought now would be a good time to order a new line in the hope that by month end they would have atleast looked at my application.

Dumb question... but i do need to know. Is there an easy way of transferring my existing line? Or do i need to cancel this one (which i can see being a nightmare), and order a new one with a ADSL order?

AFAIK you phone telkom and they will transfer it. But don't quote me on this one.

Yeah - just been through the same thing.

What occurred this time was that I was advised to take a Closer2 package - free installation and then a few days after that apply for ADSL, self install - in this way you save yourself 800 rondt in installation charges.
This advice nogal from the nice lady at "The Beast's" shop in Bayside Centre.

So @ the OP, see if that could be the solution for you

EDIT: But it all comes down to what your requirements are I'd imagine. I don't need anything more that a teeny 384k line and 3gigs.
