hi all, trying profusely to cancel my fibre order before it gets processed and dispatched

have tried contacting mweb but end in a loop of department shuffle and endless waiting on hold

please can someone point me to an Mweb representative to assist

Cancel via email .... then you have it on "black&white"
That's the thing, there's no cancelations email address, I'm beyond sure if I send it to sales they'll counter argue it was sent to the wrong dept and nothing can be done

ECT Act gives you a 7 business day cooling-off period where the transaction can be cancelled without any reason. It does not state how you must inform the supplier but in general, it is in writing.
So like Computek mentioned above contact them via email, and email as many departments as you can to show you exhausted all your options. Even try social media like twitter.

I've been through the process.

Ordered Mweb/Vuma. Waited 8 weeks, made a new order with Axxess/Frogfoot.

I tried to cancel Mweb via Twitter and their call centre - no responses. They are pathetic. Next thing Vuma calls me in week 9. I told them I've cancelled with Mweb (I hadn't because it was impossible to do so). They said, OK, we will cancel our side too. Next thing the free router gets despatched by Mweb.

Next day I receive the router. I don't open it. I tweet Mweb to fetch it from the pavement.

3 Days later Mweb apologises, cancels the order and arranges collection of the router.

The end.

That's what I'm afraid of, to date I have tried all methods as suggested by the previous posts ... No reply yet, will argue to the very end if they process the order

If you prevent the fibre installer access to install, Mweb will eventually cancel the order

Update: by some miracle mweb contacted me this late afternoon and assumed I would want to complete my order, eventually got the sales person to cancel my order and thankfully send me an email stating it was canceled, now to get telkom to cancel my voice and adsl line:X3:
