Cannot access proxy on machine.

I acess a ADSL line via a proxy at work and now for some reason I cannot access it anymore. I can ping the proxy, but when I put the details in my browser it does not bring up a prompt for a password which it should.

Any ideas, as it works for others.

Maybe the Admin restricted you from browsing the net?

No it is actually a thin client and it was a firewall type app that I killed and it is now working.
