Hi
Sorry if this has been posted already I have been searching the net and cannot seem to get a decent solution to this problem. The modem works fine on W7 32bit. The driver just will not install on the 64bit machine It is an HP machine I7 processor 1TB HDD 6GB ram not sure if this info is relevant. Any help will be appreciated

Dullusb, if you still can't come right, pm me your cell number and i will phone you and tell you how to make it work.

I had the same issue with my pc (which is now working 100%).

Believe me the drivers were not to blame.

Figured out its got to do with windows driver signing anyone have a permanent solution to disabling the driver signing it gets annoying having to press f8 each time i switch my computer on

I'm using windows 7 64-bit professional and the driver installation went without a hitch here.. Must be something with your system configuration.

Hi dullusb. I have the same problem with exactly the same DV7. Woudl you mind please telling me what to do to getting my e1820 modem installed or could you point me in the right direction please?

Thanks in advance. W

I have also not experienced any problems with my E1820 and Windows 7 64bit.

A friend of mines also has W7 64bit professional and has no problems with the installation seems maybe its just a problem with 64bit home premium
