Cannot login to Windows 10

I previously posted this in the wrong thread. The problem is that my elder family member created the account below after she could not access her windows account the usual way.

Yes she created a parent account. She forgot her credentials but had her cellphone number registered to the windows 10 account. Now when she resets the account and even tries to login she still gets to the same screen here.

Can somebody please assist me as I cant seem to reset the account for here and login to the laptop to which she cannot access anymore as the user.

Setup a VM and see if the issue persists when signing in to the the PC via the MS account.

If not, grab all the important data off and do a clean install via a live Ubuntu installer.

I had similar on a backup account a while ago,had to sign in to my (unrelated) microsoft account,say i'm "their" guardian,and consent

This trick works for pc or laptop. Infact anything that can run windows.

Have you tried Microsoft support?
