With an adapter. Also compatible with current speedlights.

Lets hope it's not quite that expensive though!

You can preorder the EOS M with the 22mm f/2 STM lens for $799 so it's actually cheaper than the 650D body which sells for $849.
The 650D body retails for R7200 at ORMS so I'd expect the EOS M to be sold for around R6800.
