hi all my sister has an old laptop thats not wireless and running xp

i can connect to ebay and youtube with it but cant connect to facebook or hotmail with it
this is the router she has http://www.solwise.co.uk/3g-routers-3g-esr-6650.htm
she has no problem accesing the sites when the dongle is connected directly to the laptop and is using windows explorer
