Ok, so since I got my SSD, my My Music folder is on another drive. So what I did was Include the music folder on my other drive to my My Music under my C: drive.

Problem is, it only loads the first 20 odd albums and thats it. . . I have discovered the problem to be a folder in My Music that I can't delete. It is empty and simply won't delete.

If I right click on it the only options I get are open, Open in new window, Include in library and send to. . . .

How the fek do I get rid of this folder?

Try this: Unlocker

Doesn't always work for me tho. iirk Malwarebytes also has a function where it can delete folders like that if Unlocker doesnt work.

Hey Hey

I use this...

http://lockhunter.com/

Works EVERY time.

Shows processes locking a file or folder
Allows to unlock, delete, copy or rename a locked file
Allows to kill locking process
Allows to remove locking processes from hard drive
Can unload DLLs from processes
Integrates in to Explorer menu
It deletes files into the recycle bin, so you may restore them if deleted by mistake
Supports both 32 and 64bit Windows

Thanks guys, but nothing worked. I have figured out that the issue is that the file name is too long. If only I could right click and rename it, but I don't get the option.

Hey Hey

Did you try lockhunter ?

I have used it to rename invalid / long paths in the past. You running XP ? Windows 7 ?

Ah thanks, I didn't see the option to rename it. I will try that tonight.

Boot with a linux LiveCD and deleted the folder.

I actually tried that with my Knoppix liveCD, but wouldn't let me delete it giving me a permission denied error.

That is where I left it last night.
