Can't play crysis on SGS

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to online gaming and gaming on local servers. The only experience I have is on WoW and playing games like Diablo and Warcraft 3 on battlenet.

I'm having problems logging in to saixe's crysis server the problem is similar Xenophon's as it also says "kicked from server" (before when I tried to connect it was "version mismatch") . I have also installed the patches yet it also displays the version in-game as 1.1.1. How can I fix this ? Thanks.

Crysis online/patching problem

I need some help. I am trying to patch Crysis first to v 1.2 and then to v 1.2.1. It runs the patches, but when finished the game still reflects as v. 1.1.

When I try running it again, it says it's already installed. I've uninstalled the game re-installed and it still does it.

I think because of this I can't play online because it keeps saying "kicked from server".

ps - I have enabled PunkBuster.

How can I solve this?

Your problem is definitely lying with your game version, and explains why you getting kicked...Why it won't patch is a mystery...Make sure you update to Crysis_Patch_1_1.exe then to Crysis_Patch_1_2.exe and finally to Crysis_Patch_1_2_1.exe. That really should work.

Thanks for the reply. I only downloaded Crysis_Patch_1_2.exe and Crysis_Patch_1_2_1.exe. Hopefully if I uninstall crysis and reinstall all three patches it will work.

There's your problem right there Get Crysis_Patch_1_1.exe and you should be sorted. I would just try install all three patches first and see if it works, I don’t think it will be necessary to uninstall and reinstall the game. Good luck.

Just finished uninstalling and reinstalling Crysis and installing the 3 patches starting from the first one, yet it still displays the version as 1.1.1.6115 and I still can't play on SGS . Hope RSA wars comes online soon because that works perfectly...

you should ask at SGS forums (saix.games.net) (or directly to the crysis forum http://games.saix.net/cgi-bin/sgsbb/ikonboard.cgi?;act=SF;f=325)

AFAIK the RSA Wars server is up already.
