Can't play games with Afrihost

The title refers to specifically with Destiny on Xbox One, but happens with a lot of games as well.

The connection is absolutely terrible!

I barely hold a connection, I lag like crazy, I can't even do a party chat with a bunch of friends without being disconnected every 10 minutes!

I checked client zone and I'm not getting shaped or throttled in any way.

I'm using their ADSL service.

If there is any other ISP that I can use for gaming, please let me know, cause I am sick of Afrihost!
 
MY ****ING ZEUS THIS IS ****ING ANNOYING HOLY ****. I AM GOING TO FLAME THEM.

EDIT: I am on PS4 and this has been the issue for the past hour. I cant believe this my ****ing friday and these ****s do this. I am seriously tired of these ups and downs on this **** network...
 
I can barely connect to eu.battle.net, but almost all other sites I go to are fine.

Just switched from VOX to Afrihost ... and Afrihost international is dead !!! well almost .. over 600ms
 
Afrihost needs to have a board on its homepage with a countdown of days since last **** up. They could probably cap the number at 10. Cant believe that this is okay and nothing we can do about it....

I had the same with them (PS4 / Destiny on 10Mbps) - this is what a typical session with AH looked like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_TgzaZnnvo

I then switched to Vox and have not a had a single issue since then. ISPA rules against AH twice (last time in June 2016) and they are supposed to honor refunds based on the ruling if they do not get the service sorted out - http://www.naschenweng.info/2016/06/14/afrihost-pay-fine-adsl-network-problems/

Anybody here able to play Destiny? If so what ISP are you using so I can sign up?

My axxess prepaid data doesnt work either.....

Afrihost and axxess are using the same network, it's buggered ATM. Get a free account from Webafrica or Gridhost.

TY sir did not even know about gridhost. Dont like webafrica much. Going to see how the trial for gridhost goes.

On PSN with Vox - absolute bliss. This is on a regular uncapped account - no latency and Iron Banner / PVP has been fantastic. I can not recall any DCs since I switched.

Would like to try Vox but they dont have any cheap/reasonable accounts for testing. Lets see if Gridhost works

I'm looking at at Vox now. What's the throttle limit that's set on a 4mbps line? 4mbps is the fastest I can get based on my exchange unfortunately..
