Cant send video via BBM

I'm currently running OS5.0.0.586 and there's no option to send a video clip to a BBM contact. I remember sending a good few clips when running OS6 as well as my old my older OS5 (can't remember which version)

Just checked with a friend who also has .586 and he can send videos.

Dont have on mine either. I could swear I could send it with my old 8310. I seem to be having a problem with GPRS/EDGE here....I am on GSM only so cant connect to BIS or app world. Go into app world and download the latest version of BBM.

Send>File, then navigate to video clips, Send>Video was never there.

CranialBlaze: Thanks. But never did it that way. If I went to videos>send or share there was 'send to messenger contact' was much easier and conveninet that way. But at least I cn still send. Thanx again.

mmm just checked on my old 8310. It gives me the option to send vid with version 5.0.1.41 which is the same as my 9300, but on 9300 it does not allow me. Odd...more investigation required me thinks.

Good grief. I dont understand this. How can my 8310 do it with messenger but my newish 9300 not? What a head scratcher. I dont send vids really...but still. It is weird. Maybe sending vids has been disabled in the OS version of the 9300 overiding the messenger software function to send vid?

K, downloaded latest BBM (v. 5.0.1.41) n working. Can now send from media folder.
