Cap finishes quicker since cata :s?

i dunno is it jst me or since all this cata stuff came out my cap finished much quicker... or maybe its jst me :wtf:

ive managed to drain my 5 gb's of cap from playing wow bout 4 hrs a day in about 15 days.. caps actualy finished now im on local and im missing this weeks raids

Just you Ive been playing few hours (5+) everyday and only used 4.39 gb thats including all my downloading, browsing and youtube watching

Well since the new cata they have added alot of new content plus when you enter a new zones it downloads new data.
So yes it will use more data than before but not much.

With Cata Blizz has opened new ports and increased the amount of data synced to your computer meaning your downloading slightly more data than before.If you're using iburst quit now as it's just a massive lag fest.

I can vouch for that iBurst is not a viable connection for WoW.

Blizz did mention that they've 'updated' the minimum system requirements, and anything below 1mbps isn't meant to have WoW running on it

If you are running many addons that retrieve data it makes you absolutely destroy your cap. examples are DBM , Bigwigs , VBM , DXE , Ora2 , Ora3 , Grid , Vuhdo , any addon that SYNC's with other addons of players to retrieve data.

Disabling the combat log helps in those cases?

Yup, but luckily the iBurst is just temporary. Waiting for my ADSL line to be installed in new place. Month and a half to wait for a telephone line...best part is, it's already there, they just need to flick a damn switch >.<
