Holiday?

Oh I see, so you're going to block peoples entrance into your little elitest enclave unless they support your policies....

No, that doesn't sound like a dictatorship to me at all....

No, only the troublemakers :p
We need to discourage the riff-raff as well.

Still sounds like a dictatorship to me..

An "Only-ppl-what-looks-like-me-can-enter" policy.... so very very non-dictator like...

Watch as Bunny uses every possible chance to accuse the CI ppl of trying to form an "elitist enclave"

Elitist: Independence of 4.8 million is elitist? Oh I get it, everyone has to suffer as you do otherwise its elitist.

Enclave: denotes a small slice of area.
The WC is larger than England. Pull ur head out.

The Cape Party wants secession for ALL the ppl of the Cape and have stated so many times.
Your fears are unfounded, unoriginal and expected seeing as though your argument of "elitist enclave" is baseless.

The real question here is...

...if the WC gets independence by next year, will they still be considered a host city for the 2010 World Cup?

:D

C-I, you're the one who paints that picture of an independent Cape...

And no, it won't be independence for 4.8m people, since the Western Cape has no historical "independence"... the Cape Colony on the other hand does.. and thats closer to 20m people I think, of which you'd need 10m+ to vote.

I spose I shouldn't use enclave... (has NOTHING to do with the size of the area) but because the following definition doesn't really hold true... an enclosed territory that is culturally distinct from the foreign territory that surrounds it. Since the WC is not a culturally distinct area.

Why not? An Independent Cape wouldn't be trying to close itself from the outside world, and arguments to label it as such are baseless and paranoiac. Having said that, it wont get it by next year, but I believe it'll happen soon enough. We will always be part of SA in terms of trade etc, but would do our own thing politically etc. These guys like Bunny who almost always bash EVERYTHING on these posts as moronic dribble seriously lack any vision of what an Independent Cape would mean for the region.

Would the DA still rule this "independent" Cape?

It won't happen soon.... that much is certain, esp with only receiving 0.13% of the vote from an area with 1/4 of the population that would be required to vote on the issue.

I don't bash EVERYTHING, just everything you seem to post since its pretty much BS from start to finish.

Any vision of what an independent Cape would mean for the region?.. It would be a gawd-awful disaster is what it would be.

I picked out your most recent one...... I couldn't be bothered to go through the rest of the drivel you've posted...

Succession? LOL!
Good idea, but it will never be allowed.
Trust me on this.

Did you make provision for NIA (National Intelligence) as well?
You can bet your bottom dollar that they would really be interested in your activities.
Do not tell me afterward that i did not warn you. LOL!
