For those who perhaps want to save on courier charges for buying and warranty purposes, these of some of the Cape Town based, Online retailers I've come across. A few have pricing which does not warrant their "Online" supplier status but I've included whatever I came across.

Please add to this if you know of any more Cape Town online retailers. I've not listed Rectron, Frontosa, Axiz, Eurobyte etc. as they don't sell to the public and resellers would know about them anyway.

Also, another great online retailer based in CPT is Loot.

Kalahari.net are also CPT based.

Yes their pricing is sometimes slightly higher than others, but their service is excellent!

I've often placed orders in the morning (around 11am, not even 8am) and then been able to collect them that same afternoon!

Excellent list. Some of them I have personal issues with and will not use though. :D "Bitch better have my money!"

How about we add something to this thread and rate online experience with these online retailers? I know landmark have an good looking site, but it is real slow and seems everytime you go back a page it isn't cached properly. Probably live data, but still slightly unpleasant getting through it.

Sometimes it is easier just to pop along to a competitor's site to find what you looking for if it can be done quicker. :)
 
They're not the only ones who use it, but i found the Landmark "live chat" interface efficient (when online). Ironically I was enquiring about a product I'd seen elsewhere, but which I couldn't find on their site. They could get what I wanted at a better price and would take cash on collection once I'd placed the order online. +1

Techmall on the other hand seem to be trying to target gullible tourists with their high pricing.
