Does anyone know how the applications to get a job at CTFES (Cape Town Fire & Rescue) work?

I've been jokingly told that 'so long you are black or coloured, don't have a good education - then you'll probably get in' which worries me, because these are the people that come to your aid when you call - joke or not, it seems to be true.

I'm trying to find out for friends and I've e-mailed both [email protected] & [email protected] and so far, no replies.

Not so sure under who they fall. Best bet is to phone CTFES and find out.

If anything, it would probably be listed under/or something like "emergency services"

I've even contacted the Exec Major via Facebook... would love some answers... guess it's no time like the present to see if Dan actually uses his Facebook hahaha.
