Cape Town holiday recommendations?

Eastern Bazaar defo & then also Food Inn India just a few roads down (Long Street).

Both gets my vote & them some.

Variety & value (portion sizes) in spades.

What better way to get direct experience knowledge and current options, that you then consider. You're still deciding for yourself.

Not sure if fishing is still allowed in SA. I do not think people like to entrap, catch, hurt and slaughter fish anymore.

Anyone who has ever been in Cape Town CBD knows it very well.

Well worth the visit especially if everyone has different tastes.

+1 with it being flower season. Pack a picnic and go chill on the grass after walking around. There's a cool tree canopy walkway as well.
 
Don't bother with the steam train Cape Town to Elgin this weekend. Friends of mine that had booked and paid were refunded yesterday, not running at the moment due to tracks damaged somewhere from the recent rains. Possibly at Sir Lowries Pass Village I think.

This is a pleasant trip to do
 
@Foxhound5366 if you have the budget consider going out on a yacht for the day.

Preferably the type of experience with food and drinks, but there are also the bigger boat options that are cheaper.

Kids will love it.
