Lex, you're still welcome to send a PM (at this stage) and argue there, let's stop derailing.

Unless you somehow fear that

i shudder to think of the outcome of independence, when that independence excludes various forms of state assisted social services.
what does one say to those ppl who are in genuine need of assistance - be it medical services, financial assistance etc

That's part of the plan. The great unwashed flee across the border into SA in search of SASSA grants, leaving more lebensraum for the libertarian loonies.

Although, of course it might simply drive the crime rate even higher.

Methinks Grant & Vigras Rojara are a tad nervous of Phil's latest plans this morning

of that i haze zero doubt.
one only needs to look at things on a micro scale to easily extrapolate things to a macro level.

it is as simple is taking a look, suburb to suburb, to see how certain efforts or interventions may or may not pay off

At least there's some movement. But not holding my breath for anything else this year, could probably just leave...

Did I mention I might leave?

Yes. We share a distrust of the same kind of people for the most part.

If I can sum up what they are doing, simply, at the risk of oversimplifying it...

They are dedicated to installing better spenders of other peoples' money, people who's consent they don't need.

The State is by definition an attempt at justification and rationalization for compromising one's morals in terms of respect for self-ownership.
Second part;

Wouldn't it then be beneficial to approach or "rope" in these sort of political parties to join the CI movement so it could become larger with more support, i.e their voters / followers / donors are now CI ?

Isn't it simple math really, the more support the CI gather the better for them, and the sooner they can achieve their goals. 🤷‍♂️

Apparently Lex has been "politely asked to stay away for a while"

You could try DM him.

CI groups have recently joined forces though (now called CIM), so could be possible.

Thanks @Brian_G

As I said previously, just enjoying the thread to read through, it is a interesting topic, and everyone's responses and perspectives etc...and it's entertaining with the two of you, what can I say :p

Used to be :giggle: , but things have got a bit stuck.

On a serious note.

It still is to be honest if Lex or yourself leave this thread for good, then I wouldn't be interested in it any longer, then I'll just simply Google for updates on CI.

I might make a related thread elsewhere, there's some other angles being considered.
