hang on a second there missey.
it's nobody's poll - i happened to create it - a little difficult in that the software / template used on this forum only allows for one question.

be that as it may, i invited others to suggest / submit questions - those who did, had their question included.
So the poll you happened to create will be unreliable and pointless if it's polling different things at different times. Common sense.

I have mentioned before that I'm not shy to report you particularly as being off topic

Besides you being the author of post 536, which is about as OT as I've ever seen, isn't blabbing on about reporting someone also OT in itself?

But go Nike, BG.

Yes - people who said they thought a referendum would be a good idea, having never thought about it before and having completely forgotten about it since. In other words a non issue to them.

Hence the 0.25 where it actually matters.

Unless Phil is keeping the massive support top secret, like everything else he's apparently doing?🤔
It's being kept covert, not top-secret, dammit!

But yes, it's clear that any plus 50% poll or whatever was complete pie-in-the sky when push came to shove.

It being continually referred to by the pro-CI camp just highlights the lack of any momentum in this movement.

It's dead on arrival.

Correction, that actually infers there was a viable embryo to start with. Rather, the dead CI sperm and the dead CI ova never did meet.

Mods first warning came in the next post after that.

Your last warning, I know you want to see this thread closed down, you've done it before.

You are derailing the thread with your threats.

Am all for staying on topic but when was the last time anything geniunely new was posted about Cape Secession? It's been pretty much done to death, occasionally moving into related but tangential topics is the only thing that keeps this thread moderately interesting.

@Brian_G so what's the target fundraising amount to run a provincial referendum sitting at? Looking at what the IEC's budget is, it's pretty eye-watering.

There's a super-secret covert fund raising thing going on to pay for a private referendum, apparently allegedly.

so to be clear, i contacted the mods regards the ban on lexity.
the message coming back was very clear - far too may derailments and excessive off-topic diversions.

after that communication from the powers that be, i posted this:

ok ladies and gentlemen
thread needs to remain on-topic, failing which, it too will be culled

Last time I asked that question in this thread I was told that the answer was "less than communism".

That was apparently a slam dunk absolutely spot on reply.

Would you want opposition to know details of your plans?
Potential (highly likely actually) reaction efforts wouldn't be the first time ANC / DA intentionally (and obviously) tripped up CI efforts.
The problem with this is that they also need to convince potential supporters that Cape Secession is feasible and that you have answers to a lot of serious questions.

The "top secret, cards close to the chest" thing appears to be just a smoke screen to excuse the lack of action in the "action" group.

Next up will be the dog eating Phil's homework.

Am all for staying on topic

Yeah, it works better.. but no personal biggie for me. This one character is out to do damage though based on past behaviours, and the Mods have been clear.

@ others
Thanks for chatting to me, but I'm not here 🤷‍♂️

Agreed. I've been aff (the forum version of afk :) ) for a year or two, so I can say, very confidently, that absolutely nothing changed in terms of the argument for CI - except some of the insults thrown.

This sudden OT focus is a bit strange, but it seems a bit of hysteria works.

And didn't we have a poll on secession a couple of years back as well?
