You should, imo, avoid calling it 'domino-secession'.
It implies a lack of human agency.... that human beings have no incentive to look before they leap, or cannot learn from the mistakes of those stupid enough not to look before they leap.
I've covered this before but if what you mean is 'runaway' or 'out-of-control' secession, it is just so far from the reality of how people act, on the whole. People who break-away are usually the kind who are prepared to give up the most convenience. People who do it for sport - as I think is being implied - don't exist.
True, not a good choice of phrase.
How about "recursive secession" - even just a second attempt qualifies for that label. Still not ideal though, will work on it further.
