If your capitec card is chipped and enabled for online purchases, then yes it should work with paypal. Do you have one of those new cards yet?

In my experience all the things I pay with paypal gets directly charged to my card. As in, I do not have the need (or the capability) to first load eg. $10 into my paypal account to be able to buy $10 worth of stuff.

No need to "link" the card explicitly. Go to runescape or whatnot, checkout, pay with paypal, login with paypal, select/add your card details, Pay.

Cool. Good luck though - a friend of mine is also struggling to get his card to work properly with eg. Paypal. In the interim he is using VCPAY for all his online purchases.

You will be able to buy the membership.

You can't load money onto paypal like one would with say airtime though - money goes straight through & can't stay there.

Yep. They never activated my friend's card for online purchases to begin with - he needs to go back to the branch for that.

Not sure what you're referring to, but as indicated before the Global One card acts as middleman, so there are never funds on Paypal.
