Capitec app from abroad

Hi. We have moved to the Netherlands in the start of 2023, though I still have and use my Capitec app. I recently got a new phone. I tried installing the Capitec app, The issue is they need to send me a OTP but I don't use my SA number abroad. Is there any work around? Is there a way to change verification from SMS to email?

Can't you pop the SA sim in a phone just to get the OTP?

Not if there is no international roaming active.
