Capitec / Telegram issue

I tried logging into my Capitec app now and apparently it seems Telegram has been flagged as suspicious software?

Do I have a dodgy Telegram or is it a Capitec thing?

Force closed Telegram and now it is working.

Weird either way.

I don’t agree with the general concept of what capitec are going here - they need to up their security instead of black list what apps people can have on their own phones.

That said, if an app was going to be blscklisted for security reasons, I fully support it being telegram. Only scammers and human traffickers and tin foil hat society types use telegram anyway

Don't be a bum, A lot of things on a mobile phone can cause such. If OP was 100% sure that its telegram then they would not have asked on the forum.

100% sure. The warning comes up when I try to open the Capitec app.
