Capitec web app suffers month-end downtime

Capitec's web-based online banking service is suffering downtime, the bank has confirmed to customers.

Outage tracking service Downdetector shows that Capitec saw an increase in complaints from around 15:00, with downtime reports surging from around 16:00.

This is not news, Capitec users don't have access to the internet.

They queue at the ATM for all their banking needs.

As a Capitec user for 17 years, I deny queuing at ATMs for all my banking needs, and I deny not having access to the internet in those 17 years.
