As i remember the Captain was on at great length about telephone poles?

As most of you are aware I know pretty much squat about Anything. However, it has finally come to my attention that my constant whitterings regarding the dodgy goings on here in Durban at least, between the Municipality and Telkom can be narrowed down to WiMax. I have so many questions and would like to ask the Captain whether he would be prepared to try and answer at least some of the basics.

Whether my assumptions that WiMAX is being used for surveillance at least on the Freeways here in Durban (currently being set up on the Southern Freeway and South Ring Road) I cannot understand what it is that is being used in the densely built up areas. WiFi? Can the two be used together? Surveillance was a subject I attempted to discuss with the Captain previously but he could not leave the telephone poles and make the leap to the streetlight poles :)

Why are there adjustments, enhancements and devices being attached to residents properties (walls, roofs etc) in many cases without their knowledge. How can this be? Simple. Offer a resident a once-in-a-lifetime deal on having his house painted? His roof tiles cleaned? And you are IN.
Among the genuine painters/cleaners are several wekkers from the Ethekwini Municipality Electricity Contract worker company Mthinyeni Contractors. These guys are skilled at doing swift and covert work without the owners knowledge. I can prove this in at least once instance. Our suburb is crawling with these guys as I write.
So now, Captain WiFi - you can answer some tardish questions for me? I would be most grateful.

PS in a skype conversation with skydog some time ago he suggested that I am just a small cog in a huge wheel and I got the distinct impression he was suggesting that I drop the matter. Possibly misinterpreted on my part? I have been attempting to copy some of my blogs to him on Skype but as he no longer communicates with me (I wonder why?) Ive no way of knowing whether my PC Controller Prakash Balliram/Collin Balliram of the amazing Interpol, NIA, Govt? connections has blocked these communications.

Hey Rodent...thanx for the deeply thought out reply. I sure wish it was just a theory and not fact. We down this end happen to have been 'living in the moment' since the Munic started wireless testing (officially) in 2004. We actually are the Zone so do me favour and dumb down on the scathing bit there :D

You not from Durban hey? So um u just assuming? next time u down this way do yourself a favour and come look see.... plenty visible stuff that scream answers needed here.

eh Syndyre its not for want of trying.. however a tiny 2mp camera captures squat and until i hopefully acquire a much stronger camera I'm screwed. Though.... hmmm I was Very lucky two weeks ago and DID manage to get some really interesting pics though they would have to be seen by an expert and I certainly wouldnt hand them out here....:D Im learning hey?

Its taken this deranged toad since 2004 and the start of the Ethikwini Muni Wireless Tests set up here in Sherwood to FINALLY stumble into the correct forum and instead of answers I get the usual heroic silence from the people I maintain Must know some answers at least.

Was I not sufficiently clear in previous posts that I fully accept this Big Brother surveillance system as part of a world gone mad?

Well Rodent dear chap, its because I believe that there are still people out there whose single aim in life is NOT the best wireless signal they can get, but a better, less corrupt country for all.
(I do realise this is a difficult concept for some to grasp)

I am happy to wear the Fools colours and to bear the Tardish banner.

I am in a neighbourhood that is Filled with the nicest of people. I was counting up with one of them yesterday and we decided there are Way more goodys than baddies so pffft to you mate...

and again I try to ask.... so for months and months my immediate neighbour has this light shining in his garage window that dances and fades and springs up... I am told that officially we share a fuse with him and certainly on many occasions he and our house only have had power cuts - just the two houses?

My queries are absolutely nothing like those of Cap Wifi - he has ideas and suggestions constantly. I have only questions - questions it would appear nobody will answer. Of course there is a certain amount of paranoia here. Good grief after all these years I am justified. (in fact I am doing great heheh)

See now, instead of dissing me here wouldnt it be great if you could ask me some ordinary clear questions - not technical in any way - that I could answer and perhaps make some sense?
Come - try, and if I am still confused and confusing then I will at least have tried. The Sparklan thing? Did I not describe it correctly? It was moved out of my neighbours garage. Could it live in a small say 3 to 4 foot square corrugated iron hut in the bottom of someones garden almost up against a power pole (electricity)? Do you personally know Collin Balliram by any chance?
