Can't you take the alternator to an auto electrician to have that tested so that at least you know it's working? I mean the new alternator which is apparently also not working? it would eliminate one thing off your troubleshooting list.

Once I get my battery charged up.

How do I remove the caps of a Willard battery?
The grooves in the the caps only allow for tightening not opening.

God is trying to speak to us.
None of my fuses are blown though, I checked them all.

Except I can't reconcile the actual fuse locations with what the manual shows.

The manual says if the battery is sealed it is not necessary to carry out these checks.

Does this mean I don't need to remove the caps on my battery?

If the battery is sealed and are maintenance free, as are most batteries these days you don't need to do any thing, just connect the charger. if you have a tray just put the battery on it to catch any spillage.

Which fuses did you locate, the one under the bonnet or the ones inside the car? there usually two sets of fuses.

The caps are made in such a way that it can only turn in one direction.
Should I make my own grips in it?

I know that they can be removed as I once had a battery like that, I seem to recall I was able to remove 5 of them and the last one did not budge. maybe there's a tool for that.
 
Besides the big battery wire on top, how many wires connections does the alternator have? I remember you mentioning something like that earlier, too lazy to go back.

The one yellow wire connected (positive) that is seen in the picture.
But there are three connection points for that wire on the alternator.

The Bosch only had one positive connection point.

So at the moment you have only the positive wire connected and the earth I suppose?
