1. Can I drive the gti fast over speed bumps? No!
2. Can I hammer the gti and not expect problems? No!
3. Both my MKV and MKVI gti's break pads had to be replaced by 18k Km's ( normal driving with the full the throttle here and there)
4. Etios is a Monday to Friday work run around, also dropping my kids to school in the morning driving on gravel road for 2km.
5. Can the gti drive on gravel roads with holes the size of a car itself? No!
6. The same reason why people buy million rand luxury cars to drive them once a month, I want to buy an Audi SQ5 for the weekend(s).
Poverty spec'd car works for 'me'...
Opinions opinions ....
Yes, as I said in my first post, different stokes for different folks. We were just hoping you would explain the logic behind your particular choice to help us understand.
We are asking what is the logic of the Etios & a SQ5.
1. A SQ5 is higher than a Etios so it can do speed bumps better.
2. S Audis are designed to be driven hard so no problems there either. Great mplan in case something goes wrong.
3. That is a problem with golfs then, not a strong point of the Etios.
4. 4x4 will do that better too.
5. as above
6. Sure, if you can, do it. As I have said before I understand if you had a GTR and a cheapy but I do not understand the point of a fast mid-sized SUV and a cheapy. Basically you have an amazing vehicle sitting locked up in the garage that is safer for the family, much more comfortable etc etc. On top of that it cost a hell of a lot so why not use it and suffer with an Etios.
Enjoy the SQ5, if you really get one.
