Car Engineer in CT

Hey guys

My car is making a funny engine noise. Have a 160 runx, and would like to get it seen to by an engineer as i feel there is more to it than the noise.

Anyone know of a really good engineer in CT that wont charge ridiculous and is really good?

Went to a Mechanic said it would be cheaper to go straight to a Engineer as they need to replace the shims.

Oh you mean an engineering shop? Are you talking about the valve shims?
