Hi. I recently inquired about purchasing a car. The guy told me via email I can apply for the finance to see if it's approved before deciding anything. After receiving a call from the finance group with what would be the monthly premiums I said I had to think about it as the premiums were quite high. I received an email the next day from the guy saying the car is registered and ready to be collected. I never agreed to it now signed anything so am I liable to taking the car?

If you never signed anything you aren't liable at all.

The guy is taking chances, when OP goes there to collect the car the dodgy contract will there ready for her to sign.

You need to sign the agreement. If you haven't signed, you owe nothing.

However, mostly everything is done online now. Make 100% sure you didn't accept the terms online.
