Car Magazine Shootout @ Killarney

What's your guys take on the in your face "Quattro" lettering of the latest high performance Audi models?

I personally like to keep it classy if I had an Audi...

I actually like it and it's still quite subtle while sending itself apart from the other models in the same range, which was always my problem with the S/RS models that they generally just look like the rest unless you really know the cars well.

I saw a video of that Golf vs the Type R ... Type R takes it.

I'm quite impressed - but the interior doesn't seem up to the price ...

PS: no smart comments about not being able to see all the text. The idea is that you actually buy the mag if you're keen to know. The pics are merely an overview

bought the mag, pretty unimpressed with the shootout and articles.
The only decent part was the final pages showing the comparisons as tested between the cars.
The actual article for me wasnt overly descriptive, emotive, enjoyable or exciting.

Prefer watching coty videos online from evo etc

What exactly were you expecting? Your issue appeared to be that it, "wasnt overly descriptive, emotive, enjoyable or exciting"? That's what you want from a soapy or a sci-fi rom-com of some sorts....this was about cars.

did you get tired of trolling in the R thread?

Dont you think an article about the top 12 should be descriptive, emotive, enjoyable or exciting? What would you prefer from an article then?

Ever watched chris harris do a f40 vs f50 comparison? Its that type of enthusiasm and car enjoyment that I would like to come out in the articles, especially of something like this. Dont think its too much to ask for either, how hard can it be to get excited or write down the enjoyment of driving any of these cars.

As i said, the useful part was the end when it showed a breakdown of real world testing as opposed to manufacturers claims. other than that, i didnt particularly find the article doing anything for me
