im hoping somebody can guide me in the right direction here. I bought a car about 3 years ago, and completely just let it stand. The guy i bought it from could not provide me with papers of the car, and we eventually decided to scrap the car.
in that time period, the car became badly rusted. However, ive recently decided that i want to rebuild the car, and so on. Can i have the car re registered onto my name, without the original title holders name or papers? what is the process in terms of a car with no papers that have been scrapped, but that i would like to restore.
Can i find a copy of the original papers of the car somewhere?
I hope this was clear enough, as i am not familiar with these type of things
