Car side mirror.

So, I damaged one of my side mirrors. I drive a sandero and renault is charging me R1200 to fix it.

Anything else I can do? Will a place like PG be able to help me?

Having smashed several mirrors in my time i can tell you that doing the PG glass story is not worth it, they will simply cut you a standard mirror to fit the holder, the magnification will be so way off that you basically will have no use of your mirror. I drove for one day then went straight to the dealer and got a proper mirror, it just became dangerous to drive.

Phone a few scrap yards...you may get lucky. Don't do the PG glass thing it doesn't work.

Not sure how practical it might be for you, but you can always find out from a reputable auto-body shop and ask them.... or a scrapyard...

Midnight spares, but then these days with palisades razor wire and electrified fences, going to the dealer might be a better idea.
