Car sound system upgrades

Find a place that does Rockford/Lightning audio. Ask for a nice clean split system with an 8inch DVC for some quality sound. They will be pricier than most but definitely quality.

If you have to go lower budget, JBL is decent.

I know that JBL bluetooth speakers is more than decent (not car products) and pricy. Kenwood was back in the day considered quite good, have they fallen?

That amplifier is overpowering that coaxials. Turn down the gains and reduce the base. Should sound better if only the mid & high frequencies are played through them.

You should have installed 1 set of coaxials (splits would have been better) and a sub instead of 2 sets of coaxials.

Thanks, I don't know enough but already suspected the amp is "overpowered" for the speakers. So can it be solved by adding a sub and somehow not let any base go through the 4 coaxials?
