Hi guys!

Am moving to Cape Town so will be transporting my car from JHB in the next week. (I know, it would be cheaper to drive the car down myself, but I do not want to)

Tried the train story but shosholoza meyl has not bothered to respond to email requests and phone calls, so have been quoted by a few car carrier companies. Best quote came from Wizz Auto Transport. Anyone heard of them? Are they reliable? Apparently they use Motorvia's depot in Cape Town.

I'm more than willing to drive it down for you.

Pay the fuel and the flight back to Jo'burg and I'll do it.

Also send drinks money with Pitbull so we can have a few "doppe" before he flies back! :) :D

hehe, I'm off next week and nothing to do. Might as well drive down, visit a family member and fly back on Friday or Saturday.

I'll seriously do it no problem.

Yeah, at least the roads shouldn't be too busy then :)

Or try and sweeten the deal for Zumba and let him pay for the fuel and padkos and you fly yourself back :p
Still a cheap holiday :D

Just hope it's not a Tazz with a 4 speed gearbox and no aircon :p :)

Yes, pls. No skidonk that will leave in stranded in the Karoo :D

I used the shosholoza meyl last year this time and it worked fine

We also used Shosholoza Meyl in June with only a few minor hiccups - data confusion on their system and an 8-hr delay with the arrival. I'd use them again in a heartbeat though

how much did they quote you for transporting and what car do you have ...cos then we can tell you whats cheaper and yeah maybe getting someone to drive it for you
