Stupid question I know but here goes.
My car is still under warranty but I have an aftermarket exhaust fitted to the car. I've been told this voids the warranty but I still have the stock exhaust. I've always thought that if I have an issue with the car I will refit the stock exhaust before taking it to the dealer? When I bought the car the stock exhaust was fitted but the previous owner also had the aftermarket exhaust.
The reason I'm taking the car to the dealer is because the keyless entry system on the car is not working. The buttons on my keyfob works but the door is not detecting my key. Would the technicians report the non stock exhaust to the dealer and void my warranty?
