Easiest will be to take the car for police clearance and hope that neither the body or engine has been reported as stolen. Then register on your name. To run around trying to get the ID of the original owner and then try to confince him to sign the change of ownership is not worth it. Just get the police clearance, it takes a day out of your schedule, be there early (before 06:00) and you will be out of there by 12:00
Thanks so much
I just came know now that i hve got scammed the papers are fake
In this case whats my best bet?
Ouch... Best bet, go for the clearance and hope that it has not been stolen. If it has been stolen, they will seize the vehicle then you will have to take the legal route to attempt to get your money back from the seller...Thanks so much
