Hi guys. I have a MacBook Pro 15" I just bought from Apple Store. Any ideas where I can get Carbon fibre to stick on the top / trackpad & bottom?

Any suggestions of local shops that provide this?

Very good question... Bud, if you've bought the MacBook Pro, you've probably spent a fortune, why waste more money... if you want to give money way, PM me... I need a text book (Paramedic related) you can spend that money on that for me.

No idea where to get carbon fibre, but Incredible Connection had those silver sticker things that's custom made for MacBook's.

I'm assuming you just want something to protect against scratches. Moshe products are also good, if you can find stock in SA.

I was just about to link DBrand!

Quite pricey though, around $40-50. Wanted to do this to my iPhone 6S Plus :D

Might be a bit off topic, but would the track pad still work properly if you put a skin over it? Since DBrand has the option to skin your track pad

I would not stick anything to the body for a few reasons;

1. The value will plummet instantly if you ever plan to re-sell it because...
2. It will leave residue that is sometimes impossible to clean off without damaging the coating on the aluminum
3. The entire chassis of the Macbook can give off heat, which ideally means you should keep it open. Although they work fine with plastic cases like Moshi etc. But skins?

I'de give that Paramedic his workbooks long before i put a skin on my MBP! :)
