Mafia mentality again i see. Complained about a reseller and got wacked like they do in an old Italian movie.

By the way, should I post the true events for everyone to see or are you just going to sit there and act like you're all righteous and perfect and did absolutely nothing wrong in that deal whatsoever? Will you also point out that you bought from a shop and more than a week later had buyers remorse and then shat on the seller for charging you a restocking fee, then threw your toys out of your cot and just sold the CPU you decided you didn't want anyway?

Yeah lets let it all out how the reseller bumped his 10% to 20% when i involved admin, lets remind ourselves how he didnt stick to his own terms and conditions, oh and lets not forget your douchebag tone in the last PM, how i was called childish. Let us also not forget how i was told 3 weeks to wait. I get its xmas etc, but lets get real, his email was very ambiguous but that doesnt matter. Sure bro, cool story, tell it your way if you want

I had the nerve to speak up and give a reseller a bad rating, my reward for trying to be open to them about my experience and dissatisfaction, a ban
 
OK, I'll post it. Rabobi ordered a CPU from a Registered Reseller on Carbonite. This Reseller has an online shop, with it's own terms and conditions. In accordance with law, this reseller will charge a restocking fee when someone returns stuff they don't want. After 7 days, any courtesy he gives for anything returned other than for warranty issues, is him being nice, in accorance with the CPA. Rabobi created an account on his online store, I would assume, and keeps saying he didn't see the T's and C's when he signed up. I know what that's called - ignorance.

But that's besides the point. He then bought a CPU from the reseller, and a week and a bit later decided he make a poo-poo choice and he doesn't want it anymore. Now, if the seller wanted, he could have shoved him a toffie, because he doesn't have to take **** back that he sold. Rabobi insisted then, and the seller said that it could take a while. It's Christmas, people are busy, and the seller apologised that the couriers can't pick up the CPU immediately. Rabobi then got all pissy and angry and when the seller asked him to not use cursing language, he lost his toys and asked me what to do about it. At this time the seller also noted that he would not charge 20% restocking fee as per the Ts and Cs Rabobi accepted, but he'll only charge 10%. In between all this, the seller gave him his personal cell number to sort it out, because his shop is closing up and slower than he wanted to help Rabobi, but Rabobi decided that he doesn't want to contact the seller, he just wants to keep on ranting.

Rabobi asked me what to do and I said that I know the seller as well. He's not known for the world's best comms, but he will come through. Guy runs a business, and can't cater to every second-guessing person's personal needs because he now needs to go through trouble to sort Rabobi's impulsive buying. Rabobi ended the PM with, and I quote, "Appreciate your input, will abide by what you suggest".

After that Rabobi still didn't contact the seller, he still didn't wait patiently for someone's business to go through the motions and he left the seller a negative rating. When the seller approached me, I told Rabobi that the negative rating is unfair and it will be removed. That's when he threw his toys out of his cot. Because the whole world doesn't want to play along with his rules and he can't fathom how someone can't dance to his tune, he got all pissy. The site owners then, not even me, decided that we don't need vindictive children like Rabobi on Carbonite and permabanned him.

EDIT: And no, we don't give preferential treatment to Registered Resellers. We have taken them on, and continue to do so, regularly when they step out of line. We just don't stand for bullshit and childish assholery, that's all.

THE SELLER SAID HE WILL CHARGE ME A 20% restocking fee which really annoyed the hell out of me. The item was sealed, and unopened

"Mineaway shall only accept returns within 7 days of receipt of delivery, provided the product is in its original packaging and in the same condition as when received. You will receive a full refund less shipping costs. If an opened item is returned after 7 days, there will be a 20% handling fee charged. All items must be in a re-sellable condition. If the goods and packaging are not in mint condition, they will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. "

So much for grownups discussing an issue and finding a solution, but no, you just ban ban ban. Whatever im done, believe what you want.

And if you are so open and honest and upstanding, POST THE ENTIRE PM thread, NOT JUST YOUR VERSION of events, you right royal toxxyc turd

I don't get it. You just said:

There you go. Bold part. Your return was AFTER 7 days. He didn't have to take it back at all. That's the gist of it. He could have legally just told you to piss off, and actually I damn-well wish he did. Would have avoided all this butthurt whining I have to deal with from you.

I also have to point out that even after he agreed to take it back you still bitched and moaned and then just sold it yourself.
