Doubt the got your pin, if that were the case they'd just withdraw cash. They may just have the card number, some places allow you to transact without the cvc even. I had my details stolen and probably sold online as someone rented a car overseas and bought flight tickets. Tried to take me for over R20K, but obviously didn't work as I cancelled the card soon as I noticed the pending transactions. What's odd is that they kept trying to use the card even after i cancelled it, kept receiving OTP SMS long after leaving that bank.

Kinda inconvenient running with low limits/little cash in a/c though.

No no, you don't get it.

You have your main account (which the card is linked to), then you have 4 others (sub)accounts, use app (or in my car online banking) to freely and easily put in cash into the main account from a sub account, and you can swipe or withdraw or whatever.

If you're willing to micromanage it on that level sure. Kinda defeats the point of card convenience though IMO.

One thing that does help me keep my peace of mind is cellphone app push notifications of purchases...they're consistently <3 second instant unlike the SMSs.
