Carolina Reaper chilli.

I'm in the process of building a greenhouse (early stages), will put up some dutch buckets and do some hydro growing... already got a few Maruga Scorpion seeds, and couple of Space Queen seeds too ;). If anyone wants to part with 10 or so Carolina seeds ...hit a bud up :sneaky:
I'll give you reapers and seeds if you build me a greenhouse...............

labour of love ... do it with electric conduit pipes... (my first one was built like that), this time going a little bigger (for some headroom). Theres a hydro thread here somewhere, I think I had some pics on it.

Sigh even after wearing gloves and you go pee, your no-no starts burning, FML! :crying::whistling:

and yes, I removed the gloves......actually had someone else pull them off.

Nah, I already have a makeshift whatever thingy I put together, with headroom and lights BTW and even a timer.
I want a full on greenhouse, like the dude up the road has, I assume he is growing weed, I should go find out.

I'm not building anything fancy ... just keeps the monkeys out and shaded a bit. Thinking of maybe trying to hybridize a chilli..

Did you double up on the gloves?

No, I did not double up on the gloves.

I think my chilis naturally hybridized, the plants are all next to each other. I tasted one of my chocolate habaneros and I am still in recovery....I think they did the hanky panky with some reapers.

Anyhow if anyone really wants some reapers pop me a pm and R100 and I will courier you a few, maybe a chocolate habanero or two as well. I wasted time waiting for someone last year that never pitched up for some free chilis so I will only courier from now on!

Basically deseed the fruit, dry out the seeds and then germinate, I like the wet paper towel method- and then nurture and grow and pray to your selected diety and maybe you will have a few awesome plants next year.......or not. :)

Worst case scenario nothing grows but then at least you made a sauce from the reapers

So I wasn't happy with the sauce I made post #325. The tomato and onion watered down the reapers a bit and also it wasn't the texture I was after - it becomes too smooth. I sent Sir F a small sample, wasn't my best effort, sorry bud :(

I have just made another batch, basically just the chilis, garlic, brown sugar, cider vinegar, salt and pepper, from tasting during cooking it is what I am after....will know later if it has the heat as well, as it feels like a chemical attack in the kitchen, probably.

Anyhow all reapers finished though I have a few growing if anyone else wants to get some later on.

I should have more reapers coming soon if anyone wants to get a couple (R100 for courier) - super hot crop, deseed and grow your own!

Picked another batch Habanero and some others yesterday. Want to try a smoked chilli sause. Used Maple sawdust.

Will make a sause this evening. Thinking to add sliced tinned peaches ?

So again, for anyone who doesn't read the whole posts :)

I am not selling anything and especially not my plants. If you want an established reaper plant with lots of fruit growing then you would need to part with about R1000.00

I will give away some seeds and a couple of reaper fruit which you can deseed and try and grow your own - you will probably get around 50+ seeds from 2 reapers. The R100 (or R60 in JHB) is just to cover the courier fee.

If you want a plant, R1000 and its yours :) At the moment 10-15 fruits growing and still flowering
