That's the worst part. You can't even trust the people who are meant to defend you. Saying that though, if you have to go to the extremes of closed circuit cameras and private radio setups isn't it time to move? I wouldn't go to a braai at that guys house, let alone live there.

That only works on some Zimbabweans - the rest of the criminals would see the lions as bush meat.

This post does not imply that all criminals are Zimbabwean - there are many Nigerian criminals as well, and a few South African criminals of various colours.

Mindboggling what happened to that family. I'd like to say I'm not shocked by them being robbed by the police like that, but I am... I think people in SA put way to much faith in the police.

It's not even that dangerous where I live but I still worry like hell when coming home at night and it doesn't help that most of my family never bother to lock the car doors when driving at night... :/

Have a couple of shallow "rose beds" dug and a bag of lime handy. As we all know, the cops won't come when a couple of random shots are fired so nobody will ask any questions and we won't have to burden the police with our problems.

Disgusting that those bastards had cop uniforms. Either they were stolen or they were cops. Someone must be held accountable.

They knew that that family was currently involved in the case and they knew where the safe was so obviously they were cops, or being aided by cops.
