So anyways i got the coolermaster 932 and it has 3 20cm fan at 700 rpm, if there something i can buy to make go faster or mod them somehow?

I saw a 20cm at pcint that spins at 1000 rpm but it is 180 bucks so before i go blow more cash on stupid things i thought i would check :D.

I almost got your case, but went for the sniper instead. It seems like they could be using the same fans, but no way to check. What you can try though is measure the voltage going into the fans. If its less than 12V, then it can probably run faster. Not sure how you are going to do that though since the terminals are hidden away within the fan. Why you want them going quicker anyway?

Well they do not really push that much air hey. I mean i went crossfire so i want a side fan that can push some air because the gap between the 2 cards is like 1mm :D

I think you'd be better off getting that other fan then, just make sure it actually does provide better airflow and isnt just spinning faster :D

Running them outside design spec is a bad idea & has no advantage. Just noise & turbulence & reduced lifespan.

More RPM doesn't say anything when comparing fans. The angle of attack on the 700rpm fan could be higher.

Forget modding etc. Rather save the money & replace the fan earlier than usual.

No but i can barely feel the wind blowing with this fan. I know coolermaster tried to keep the noise down but geez come on now :D

Ok i hear you about the fan but i am pretty sure a 1000rpm will push more air but i will check the specs on the airflow to be sure

Yeah the 1000rpm will *probably* push more air. But those fans aren't designed to cool anything anyway, just to shuffle the air & prevent heat buildup. If you want to cool something specific then you'd use a smaller high speed fan.

Yea good point but if it is shifting hot air then there should no build up. so i am not looking for cooling just something to move the hot air around or out of the case considering my back fan sucks it out :D
