Case fans

I usually recommend a fan (blowing cool air in) at the front and rear of the case (sucking warm air out), which usually results in good airflow :)

You just need circulation.

If your case has one of those side-vents, add a fan there - either to blow out hot air or suck in cool air. Then just add the opposite config at the back. This will cause air to be sucked in on the one end and blown out at the other, which will cool down the system as a whole.

I made the mistake of letting all my fans blow out at some stage. This has the opposite effect, since cool air couldn't be sucked in quickly enough and hot air builds up in the case...

Get the Aerocool Zero Degree case, it has a 25cm fan, that will be cool

I'm not really looking to buy a new case right now...
Ya, not really keen for LEDs etc.
Okay, I'll look fro a few 80mm fans. What about 120mm? surely with a bigger fan, I could have a lower RPM, and therefore quiter?

Get bigger fans, they making less annoying noise.

Bigger fans tends to equal quiet and efficient when it comes to chassis ventilation. :)

Ok i will recommend some coolermaster LED(yes i know but i haven't seen ones without led's) 120mm fans which runs at 1200rpm and 21Decibels. Nice quite fans which move a good amount of air. They cost about R61 each which isn't bad.

At the moment I've just got the fan that came with the case and, to be honest, I don't know what size it is... What do you measure? Diagonal screw to screw? Vertical screw to screw? Fan tip to fan tip? I'll have a look for the coolermaster fan... If my case has 120mm fan vents... They're on the back, are there generally 120mm fan vents?

There are normally multiple holes for different sizes...so im sure a 120mm will fir. !20mm fans will measure close to 12cm but not diagonally. 80mm fans are quite small.
